The LIONS soccer team wishes to express their gratitude to South Florida Elite Futbol Club's Director Jorge 'Pitu' Alvarez & professional trainer Christian Block.
We are extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to train under their expertise.
Originally from Argentina, Pitu played 8 years professionally in Argentina, Guatemala, Costa Rica and United States. Pitu, one of South Florida's best known trainers, was the head trainer for Boca Juniors for 6 years and the Director of Coaching for Coconut Creek. Over the years, Pitu has developed numerous players many now competing at the National, International and Professional levels.
Christian has been coaching youth competitive soccer including Boca Juniors, Florida, Coconut Creek SC, Florida and now South Florida Elite FC. His impressive career as a player includes playing collegiately at Florida Atlantic University, and professionally at VfL 93 Hamburg, Germany and Hannover 96, Germany
